We always have great ambitions when the new year starts, year after year we want so many things we want to accomplish and then disappointment hits. The build up and then the let down.   I experience this every year.. So thought about this year… what can I do that is legit?  To set goals (especially in new year) is not necessarily bad.. But a point to work off of and that will add quality to my daily life…. Being grateful… such a positive emotion and soul filling…

Think about gratitude.. The positive aspects…. it tends to put things in perspective….and it can help put the negatives in its place…

Take a moment at the beginning or end of the day…. it can be while showering.. Or before getting out of bed.. Or before going to sleep…. it can be while taking a 5 min walk…. just being still for moments can do wonders……. Having a special quiet place at the house… just a moment…

The process can be just thinking or  Or even creating a gratitude journal…or video blogging….. it doesn’t have to be a fancy process.  it doesn’t have to be an essay either.. Place a minimum on the number of gratitudes.. So on hard days … the soul has to think and then be appreciative….  between 3-5 grateful points… and not just one word… in this process it is good to go on tangents…

This small process can do wonders for being your own cheerleader  and create some moments of calmness in a small point in the day…. it goes a long way.
