WCCMW

Women’s & Children’s Center for Mental Wellness welcomes you to our clinic. Our clinic works closely together in order to provide you optimal psychiatric medical treatment. Angela Harrison is our Office Supervisor and Business Manager. She will be able to assist you in all matters involving the clinic and solve any billing problems that may arise. We also have a Front Office Manager who assists in all matters involving intake assessments, referrals, appointment coordination, and patient communications.

Jasjit (Rimi) Singh
Jasjit (Rimi) SinghMD
Dr. Rimi Singh is an ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist. She is Certified in Perinatal Mental Health and Integrative Psychiatry as well. She has special interests in women issues including depression, anxiety, and eating disorders; as well as treating women in all phases of life- mood disorders during pregnancy and postpartum and perimenopause/postmenopause. She is very active in the community and presents regularly at meetings to help educate others. Dr. Singh also holds a Clinical Associate Professor appointment at LSUHSC-Shreveport. She is from Monroe, LA and called it her home, until moving to Shreveport for residency in 2002.
Manish Saran

Manish Saran, MD is a fellowship trained Child and Adolescent psychiatrist And Board Certified Psychiatrist(MD) providing care for illnesses such as complicated ADHD, anxiety disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, and mood disorders from 0 to 18 years of age, or older if enrolled in college or graduate school. He has published several academic articles and has obtained training in autism treatment and diagnosis. Dr. Saran is from the Jersey area but has called Shreveport his home for many years.
Theresa Stewart
Theresa StewartAPRN, PMHCNS, BC
Theresa is a Board Certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with over thirty years of experience. She graduated from Northwestern State University with her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health. She is originally from South Louisiana and has worked in a variety of clinical settings both private and academic before joining WCCMW. She treats men, women and adolescents and has a special interest in mood and anxiety disorders.
Cindy Hunter
Cindy HunterPA-C
Cindy Hunter PA-C is a board certified physician assistant and registered dietitian. She completed her bachelor’s degree in dietetics with a minor in health promotion at Nicholls State University and finished her nutrition education by graduating from Tulane University. She has been a practicing dietitian since 2016. After years of practice and gaining a love of medicine, she went on to obtain a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Outside of medicine, Cindy enjoys traveling, cooking, DIY home projects and playing music.
Liz Bright
Liz BrightBoard Certified APRN
Liz Bright, APRN, PMHNP, BC is a Board Certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor of science form Vanderbilt University and her Bachelor of science in nursing from Johns Hopkins University. She grew up along the eastern seaboard, but has called Shreveport her home since 2013. Liz works in a variety of clinical settings treating individuals of all ages. She has a special interest in integrative medicine and providing care for PTSD, ADHD, substance abuse, and mood disorders.

Doug CouncilPMHNP-BC, FNPC-BC
Doug is a board certified nurse practitioner with 24 years of experience- 17 years as a family nurse practitioner and 4 years as a psychiatric mental health practitioner. Originally from Shreveport, LA but calls West Monroe, LA home. Doug has worked in various clinical settings but his focus is now in adults and adolescents in the outpatient clinic setting.
