Almost always\u2026 Why do we set up ourselves for that failure every year?   We are human.  We want to accomplish and succeed at a goal we set up for ourselves.  We want to say\u2026 Done! I did it! It makes us feel good\u2026.  But when we don\u2019t then we down ourselves and berate ourselves for not accomplishing that goal.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s good to set goals.  It\u2019s good to try to achieve something\u2026. But maybe let\u2019s not set it up for disaster by going with the mob mentality of doing it on the day of New Years\u2026 Maybe try setting a \u201csmall\u201d goal every month\u2026 Example\u2026 \u201cI\u2019m going to try to clean my hallway closet.\u201d\u2026 Give yourself a month\u2026 if you don\u2019t do it\u2026 try again next month\u2026. Or enlist help\u2026 or do it by sections every week or two\u2026 Be sensible about accomplishing the goal.  If it\u2019s not done was it really a priority?  Wasn\u2019t it better just to get some sleep that month?<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t\u2019 sweat the small stuff.  Live your life on your terms.  Let the crowd do its thing.
